About

My name is Arturs Lapiņš, and for as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by technology — especially computers, how they are built, how software works, and the endless possibilities that can be achieved through them. From a young age, I was always interested in understanding how systems function and how digital ideas can be transformed into real projects and applications.

When I was 14, I received my very first computer, and that moment marked the beginning of my journey into developing practical skills in the field of technology and software development. What initially started as curiosity quickly became a long-term passion. I spent countless hours exploring different programs, learning how software works, experimenting with programming, and trying to create my own projects.

Over time, I began designing logos and visual materials for individual clients, which helped me improve both my creativity and attention to detail. Alongside graphic design, I also explored 3D modeling in Blender, where I experimented with creating models, environments, and visual concepts while learning how to bring ideas to life in a virtual environment.

As my interest in computers continued to grow, I started experimenting with software development and game creation. I have worked on several small software projects and applications to improve my understanding of programming and problem-solving. In addition, I have also created a few game projects, some of which are still in development, allowing me to gain experience in game logic, design, and project structure. These personal projects have helped me strengthen my technical abilities and develop a more practical understanding of how software is planned and built from the ground up.

I am currently studying Computer Systems at the Liepāja branch of Riga Technical University, where I continue to deepen my knowledge in programming, computer systems, and software design. Through both my studies and personal projects, I am constantly improving my technical skills and exploring new technologies.

I have intermediate-level skills in several technical areas, including:

  • C / C++
  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • HTML / CSS
  • Blender
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator

I enjoy learning new technologies, challenging myself with creative and technical projects, and continuously expanding my knowledge in software development, design, and computer systems.
