Volunteer coordination platform (inactive)kalpotprieks.lv is a full-featured web application built to streamline volunteer organization and scheduling for the Pentecost Picnic — a large-scale outreach event organized by the Liepāja Baptist Pāvila Church that attracts over 1,000 visitors every year. The app is currently inactive between events.
The platform replaces chaotic manual Excel spreadsheets and fragmented communication with a single real-time system where both organizers and volunteers see their assignments, times and teams at a glance. Administrators get full control over volunteers, services and assignments plus one-click Excel export; regular volunteers get a clean, mobile-friendly view of exactly when and where they are serving.
Created in 2026 for the church's 4th year running the Pentecost Picnic — an event where volunteers go out into the city to serve the community through live music, food, children's programs and other activities. What used to take days of manual spreadsheet juggling now happens in a single, secure, real-time interface.
